The Dirt Bag

Excellent experience. I needed some screened topsoil. I literally drove in after seeing it on google maps. They filled up my truck bed quickly and efficiently. Easy check out. Awesome experience--highly recommend!

Price, ordering and delivery were easy enough and good experiences. However, when I ordered the product Southtown cobble was listed at 1 and 1/2 inch. When it arrived it was clearly 3 inch. When I mentioned it to the delivery driver he stated that was the smallest they had, and he had mentioned in the past they should change the web page listing. While I am still happy with the overall look the issue is at closer inspection there are gaps in coverage as the larger cobble does not fill smaller gaps and the quantity I ordered does not allow for a deeper (layered) coverage to fill the gaps that would not be present with the smaller cobble. Again all in all pleased with The Dirt Bag, but can't go more than 3 stars because of the size and coverage issue.

Great company to work with. Orders fulfilled and delivered promptly and drop spots requested are placed as accurately as possible. I've purchased mulch, playground chips and garden soils over the years and The Dirt Bag has very consistently given great service!

I am very happy with my delivery from The Dirt Bag! My experience began with the First call. They were very informative and helpful in choosing what would be best for our needs. Got us on the delivery list right away, and went above and beyond to make sure we had it in time for our needs. The delivery driver put it right where we wanted it, and was very respectful of our property. Could not be happier with this purchase! Thank you Dirt Bag!

First off great customer service. I walked in and got what I needed ordered and was told where to go so our truck could be loaded. Now for the product, I asked someone via email about what to use for leveling and overseeding and was recommended the Garden Soil Plus due to all the good perks of it. So I went in and ordered it and didn't bother to look at the product because the pictures looked great (of course) we got home and dumped the truck only to see there are a TON of wood chips and rocks. It has made it a huge pain in the rear to spread and level. Hopefully this isn't an issue with my grass seed I'm putting down or this whole project was a waste. For 2 yards it was $160 and some change. If it works I'll be back to give an updated review 🤞
